You may or may not have heard of a new little music festival taking place on some island later this summer.
The festival is rather small since it only spans 3 days and packs only 6 stages of bands that probably no-one has ever heard of like Covenant, Marilyn Manson, VNV Nation, The Cult, Blutengel and someone by the name of Gary Neuman among the other 130 bands. Oh, and the festival will have only one circus arena; what kind of festival is this?
Seriously though, my hat is off to the organizers. This ambitious festival is nothing short of breath taking in it’s scale. This is an event that should not be missed. My recommendation is to clear off ANYTHING you may have planned for 15-17 August 2014, buy yourself a plane, train, bus, donkey or elephant ticket and get to Boughton Estate, Kettering, Northamptonshire in the UK.
And at £57.00 a day or £125.00 for the whole weekend you can’t go wrong!
The artists featured are The Gothsicles, Detroit Diesel, Aliceffekt, Skylightglare and a CD release of ‘For all the emptiness’ new album.
Along with the bands, there will also be another room to enjoy tracks spun by Toronto’s finest DJs: Edwin Somnambulist, Hangedman, Dreamstate Seven, and Saucy Miso.
A night not to be missed, as these performers always blow the roof of the venues they play in.
